Over 1,600 students were honored at the Jefferson Parish Public School System’s annual Superintendent’s “A” Breakfast of Champions. The events recognize outstanding academic accomplishments for students who have earned an “A” in each course taken and no lower than a “B” in honor courses taken during the first and second nine-weeks marking periods. Those students and their families are invited to attend the breakfast ceremony.
Superintendent Isaac G. Joseph and Jefferson Parish School Board Vice President Melinda Doucet were joined by other members of the school board, district leaders, and school administrators in honoring these young scholars in grades 6-12.
The full video from each breakfast event is available below. If you’d like to order a DVD of the event, please click here. You may also view our photo galleries of the East Bank and West Bank events.
