Ten Jefferson Parish Public School System (JPPSS) students have been named 2015 National Merit Finalists, and six students are 2015 National Achievement Finalists. These students are now eligible to receive a National Merit or Achievement Scholarship, and recipients will be announced in the spring.
“To be selected as a finalist for the National Merit and National Achievement Scholarship programs is an immense honor, and we are so proud of these students for their accomplishments,” said Michelle Blouin-Williams, acting superintendent of JPPSS. “Congratulations to these students, families, counselors, and school staff on this extraordinary achievement!”
